Digital Rights Management (DRM) & Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is free software that enables viewing and managing of e-books protected by DRM.

You will need to create an Adobe ID to authorise viewing your e-book on multiple devices.

If downloading an entire book using a computer off-campus, you will be prompted to download Adobe Digital Editions.

If using a mobile device to download a book you will be prompted to:

  • install and authorise the Bluefire reader app

Book chapters can be downloaded in PDF format. If downloading an entire book you will be prompted to create a personal EBSCOhost account.
